What is the MiniTube?
This is a mp3 plugin that converts your mp3 files into
music videos. So your audio playlist becomes a video playlist.Think of it as your own VH1™ channel where the song that are being played
are from your own mp3 playlist. If you don't get it maybe should
just try it out and the rest is pretty self-explanatory.
Who is the creator of MiniTube?
Minitube was created by Sanchit Bhatnagar aka me. Minitube is something I wrote in my free time. It's just for fun, not another startup or business. Just fyi.

Minitube as been kind of popular lately and has been featured on some big sites like:

Currently this plugin is only supported on Winamp, Apple iTunes and TheKMPlayer.
But we highly recommened Winamp because that is what we've tested MiniTube with the most.
You need at least a 512kbps connection for this to be any
useful.

How do I start the plugin?
If you've closed the minitube window in winamp it will not popup
again until you want it to.
To open the window again, do the following:
- Open
your winamp's playlist
- Right
click anywhere on it to bring the popup-menu
- From
this popup menu click "Play as music video (songreference)!"
- That's
it, you should have a music window popup
How to get 10x better results for my videos in one easy step?
The quality of result is directly proportional to the
information about the song stored inside the MP3 file, i.e. the ID3V1/2 info.
To get better results for a song, do the following.
- Open
your winamp's playlist
- Select
the song(s) for which you want better results
- Now
right click on the selected song(s)
- You
will a popup-menu
- From
this popup-menu open click the item that say's "send-to"
- From
the sub-menu click "auto-tag"
- This
will now automatically update your mp3 files for better video searches
*If the above seems difficult to you then just press Alt+3
and fill the artist and song info by hand.
Why do some videos take longer to load?
Video sites like youtube.com™, google video™, etc have this
bad habit of removing good videos from their site when a hater complains.
Anyway, so the plugin has to check if the song has been removed and if so, find
an alternative version which takes time and this is why some videos take longer
to load.
My video's lip sync is out.. how can i fix this?
There are some menus at the bottom of the video player. See
the first menu that says "Lip-Sync". Just toggle that to video sound and this
should fix it. Please note that doing so will mute your mp3 player/winamp, so toggle it back if
you want to hear your original mp3 file.
How can I play videos in full screen?
I'm working on it.. I wrote this plugin because I had a 3 day weekend and I suddenly had this idea.. but it's not my full time job
so be patient.
